The gymnastics rings present a whole new challenge, mainly because it can be moved about freely. This means hanging from the rings can be unstable, forcing your muscles to work twice as hard to remain stable in a position; this is great to develop smaller muscle groups. Moreover, its adjustability allows for a wider range of calisthenics exercises to be explored.
In our rings class, you will be guided through a variety of pulling, pushing, and even leg exercises to help you develop aspects including but not limited to strength, balance, and even flexibility – as a result, you will get more than just a full body workout.
Occasionally, we will explore skills that demand a different technique when done on the rings, for example, the ring muscle up.
This class is suitable for all levels. Progressions will be given to match your unique needs.
